Fire, rescue and medical services from 6:00 am - 21:00 pm, Monday to Friday,
and 6:00am to 18:00pm over weekends and public holidays.

Rand Airport has a VOR cloud break procedure
which allows you to land in bad weather conditions
down to a minimum of 600 feet as per the AIP's.

The LCN (Load Classification Number) allows
the landing of most aircraft up to the weight of an Airbus.

HS125/400 series - noise limited.
Learjet 2/25 series - noise limited.
Falcon 10 - noise limited.
Beechjet 400 series - maximum range limited.

NOTE - Corporate jets and long range aircraft are not able to operate out of Rand Airport with high fuel loads with the existing runway length.
